AGWB & Co started because nothing on the shelf worked on our beards. Coily hair drinks oil differently — and the brands that knew that weren't speaking to us. So we built our own.

Most beard oils are made for fine, straight hair. They sit on top of a coily beard, never reach the skin, and leave you with itch, flakes, and patchy growth. We started in a kitchen in Cordova, TN — mixing black seed, castor, and jojoba until we got something that actually sank in.
Our butters are built around raw, unrefined shea and mango mafura — the same ingredients our grandmothers used. Our soaps are real African black soap from a co-op in Ghana, not the dyed-black imitation you find at the drugstore.
Every batch is poured by hand. Every bottle is signed. We're a small team, and we'd rather make fifty perfect bottles than five thousand average ones.
